The Welcome Wagon

"O sweet September, they first breezes bring the dry leaf's rustle and the squirrel's laughter, the cool fresh air whence health and vigor spring and promise of exceeding joy hereafter." - George Arnold

I haven't posted for a while as the flow of photos has been reduced to a bare trickle. I spent the Sunday till tonight back up at the Bruce Peninsula, catching a 6 am sunrise after an hour hike up the cliffs. I have yet to dig my way through those photographs. For now here is the welcome wagon that was sitting at the site when we arrived...

I love squirrels (as long as they are not in my attic) and this is one of the cutest I've seen.

What got me about the little critter is how large the hinde paws are in comparison to the rest of the body. The squirrels up north are at least 1/2 the size of what you get in the urban areas.

Thanks for stopping by.

cheers
