Bird sunning itself along the Bruce Trail

Early Morning Sunbath

"What is the price of five sparrows? A couple of pennies? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to him than a whole flock of sparrows." - Luke 12:6

I've become a fan of the new mini series Into the West on CBC. I've always been a fan of stories about how the west was won, Indians and big sky country. This little guy was sunning himself on the thin branches of a young tree. He'd look around every time the shutter executed which surprised me considering all the chirping and ambient noise around him...

Lovely shot - the bird looks so close the viewer could almost reach out and touch him. Great job!

This little chap looks so strong and so delicate at the same time. The verse is one of my favorites particularly when things seem to be a bit out of control.
