A log cabin window offers a late afternoon view of a farmers field in the Czech Republic

Little Window

"Many a doctrine is like a window pane. We see truth through it but it divides us from truth." - Kahlil Gibran

I had never before been inside a true log cabin, I've been in knock offs which used quarter sawn logs as a facade but never a true to life log cabin inside and out. Nestled in the foot hills of the Jesenik Mountains this is the view out of the top story of the Kuliches cabin. For its small size and what some would describe as cramped quarters it was one of the most comforting rooms I've been in. I can only imagine what it would be like to wake up every morning and set off to work amid the cozy warmth of the wooden walls as the early morning sun came pouring through that window.
