Karlova Studánka
"The government will fall that raises the price of beer." - Czech Proverb
Karlova Studanka is located about an hours drive from where I am staying. It's a treatment facility made up of many old buildings that deal with respiratory ailments. It is believed that the combination of treatment and mountain fresh air. The name translates literally to Karl's Well or Spring and near the heart of what looks like a little town of facilities is a small closed off gazebo style building that houses a well.
Brought by pipes and returned to the earth through the drainage three taps pour out day and night a stream of very discreetly fizzy water that tastes of steal and smells of sulfur. It's an acquired taste with many supposed health benefits. You get used to it going down but burping up an egg like flavor is what got me.
Here a hand fills a cup to the brim as folks gather around to drink. Sunlight was filling the gazebo with beams of light that afforded a shorter exposure to black out the surroundings. What you don't see is a patina of rust that covers the bottom of the communal sink from the waters iron content.

I love the detail of this, the way the light hits, the motion of the water. Gorgeous.

You really seem to like that lens, but it is a fairly long one especially on a D70. Do you carry two camera bodies, one with a shorter lens when you are out & about?
