"Leisure is a form of silence, not noiselessness. It is the silence of contemplation such as occurs when we let our minds rest on a rosebud, a child at play, a Divine mystery, or a waterfall. " - Kahlil Gibran
We traveled along tight little roads fenced in by groves of old apple trees which, as we began to ascend, gave way to endless rows of evergreen trees, their canopy shielding the road and travelers from the early morning drizzle. Climbing along razor back mountain roads can make a relatively short distance as the crow flies a long trip of twisty's and nearly full turn switch backs. In short, for someone like myself, its a drivers paradise. Our destination was a small village cut into the valley with the single purpose of providing a place for people suffering from ailments and tired old bones, of course the camera was there...
