Michael & Elly Godard
"Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be." - Grandma Moses
Had a chance to return to the Life Is Intoxicating Gallery for another photo shoot. This time Michael Godard and his wife Elly were both present to meet Michael's fans and have him produce a completely unique original which was auctioned off for Sick Kids Hospital.
During the 3 hours I was shooting Michael Godard interacting with people at the gallery I had Elly make a request to get a shot of her and Michael at the end of the night before I packed up my gear and left. This shot was one of the last shots that night and wouldn't you know it my Speedlight decided not to fire on the first 3 tries. Finally I dumped the batteries and with the last fresh set off AA's I caught this moment.

Very interesting, fun artwork! Thanks for the introduction.
You captured the moment perfectly in your photo...I'm now going to look around a little longer, if that's ok?!

There is nothing like visiting my favorite photoblog on the internet. I don't need Michele to have me visit, but she did send me today.

Grins
Hi Michele sent me. Know what I really like about this photo? Other than the technical aspects of framing, ligthing, etc.....it is the fact that you caputured 2 people that some might have stereotypical bias against due to their fashion/style..and you captured them appearing more loving and accessible than many without the tattoos and such might be themselves. Great work.

Elly love the shot, apparently not too many of them together. I have to get around to printing a copy and shipping it out to them.
Thanks Grins. I have to admit that when Michael Goddard first entered the gallery I had my own stereo type applied. However within 30 minutes of watching him be genuine to his fans and with anyone who had a question and having a chance to chat with Elly I recieved a reality check. In a way God tapped me on the shoulder and reminded me of my judgmental attitued and how it can hinder.
Thanks for the compliments and happy to hear you folks like the new layout.
