4 candy machines spinning out sticky spider webs of candied sugar

Cotton candy hustle

"Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker." - Ogden Nash

"I haven't take a break in over four hours and the line up hasn't gotten any shorter" he said as he twirled another stick around the cotton candy machine. Four young guys were crammed under the cover of a blue tent with 4 candy machines spinning out sticky spider webs of candied sugar. "It gets into everything" he told me as he collected change back from a customer. With over 11 hours & close to 40 kilometers hiked across Spencer Smith Park today & most of those occurred in the fenced off area for the Rib Fest. I have a flash card full of over 350 photographs tossed into the reader and its near impossible to pic a shot I like. I think right now I don't like a single one. The stream of people didn't end and neither did the photo opportunities or conversations. Surprisingly I didn't bump into too many people that I knew...

Just like cotton candy, a sweetheart's love can be so sweet.
