Young Girl at a Birthday Party
"I just love making a fool out of myself. I made my living as a clown at kids' parties for about three years." - William Arthur Ward
Dawn & Nino threw a double birthday party for their son Logan & Nino's mother. The photograph is of a young girl celebrating along with Logan & family who just received her balloon hat from the clown in the background. Shooting the kids was hectic but rewarding, unlike adults they don't always shy away from the camera or pay enough attention to know where the lens is pointing...
The photograph is of a young girl celebrating along with Logan & family who just received her balloon hat from the clown in the background. Shooting children is a challenge with the rate at which they change their minds, props and location to say the least.

What a beautiful photo. I adore photos of kids. They're so natural and unposed. I loved that you were able to get this girl, who is probably a preteen, not to be self-conscious. I hope her parents were able to see this photo. It's really wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Pearl.
Thank you for the vote by nominating me. I am very touched by the gestures.
I never knew so many people were uncomfortable with clowns. I'll do my best to avoid posting photographs with clowns in the future. However for the record, I don't have a problem with clowns or anyone who can tie a balloon weiner dog in under a minute.
Cheers.
P.

birthyday party supplies
That is a fantastic picture of a birthday in progress. The detail of the child's face, the bright colors, the expressions and teh slightly blured background elements which support the focus makes for a great shot.
