Sunrise over the Georgian
"The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls." - John Muir
Early in the morning hours, before even the sun began to hint at its impending arrival, we groped our way through the near pitch black woods to cliffs overlooking the western shore of the Georgian. With ambers, purples and blues over our heads we waited for the sun to simultaneously light the dark waters below, silhouette the world around us and lift its blazing mass into the sky. As that happened the winds stilled as if in awe of yet another morning.

I love sunrises, to be able to see them from so many different aspects.
I currently have your sunset on the icy lake as my desktop. It is very soothing.
Thanks for the comments on my photos. Max is much harder to photograph than the cats, they are hams, Max always wants to get his nose as close to the camera as possible.
