Frosting
"Spring, summer, and fall fill us with hope; winter alone reminds us of the human condition." - Mignon McLaughlin
I was going to complain about the utter lack of motivation I'm experiencing today, that is until I flipped over to CNN. 12 or 13 men are trapped in a coal mine in West Virginia. Suddenly my problems take on their true scale of insignificance. Prayers for those men and their families, I mean, we all have days, weeks, months we hate at work. However most of us aren't taking a 1 mile ride down a mine shaft to earn our bread and butter and we should be thankful...
A narrow creek cuts a smooth dark path through a small clearing of trees along the Bruce Trail. It had snowed the night before, that heavy wet snow that sticks to everything, and every tree and tall plant had a gentle fragile frosting that would be gone before the day was through.

This could be a Christmas card or a wallpaper.
About catfish: Farm raised doesn't have the wild taste of those caught in lakes and ponds. I usually coat it with corn flake crumbs and bake it. It is light, not fishy and makes a great crunchy meal without all the mess of frying. My daughter likes catfish done this way better than any other. I also love salmon, grilled with salsa; but she doesn't. I can't believe so many people had an aversion to it. Maybe it's more of a Southern thing.

SRP.
That actualy sounds very tasty. I'm usualy open to new foods and dishes however catfish isn't a common treat around these parts and has some steroetypes associated with it. Howver the salmon with salsa gets a big thumbs up from me! :)
You all might be right about next years christmas card!
cheers
