Photographs take while hiking the Bruce Trail

Bruce Trail Lowville - part 1

"All my life I have tried to pluck a thistle and plant a flower wherever the flower would grow in thought and mind." - Abraham Lincoln

Another beautiful day for a hike revealed itself with temperatures just below freezing and the sun casting long shadows of tree trunks into the forest. We parked the car at the north end of Blind Line in Lowville and made our way down a series of small hills along the main trail. I think this area of the Bruce Trail still falls under the Mount Nemo Conservation Area umbrella even though its good 3km from the conservation areas parking and official boundaries, however unlike Nemo its free to park and hike.
