Late autumn leaves
"October is the fallen leaf, but it is also a wider horizon more clearly seen. It is the distant hills once more in sight, and the enduring constellations above them once again." - Hal Borland
We had struck out to explore side trails of the Bruce near our new place during the late fall of 2005. The trees were for the most part bare but a ray of light hitting the leaves caught my attention. It was also an ongoing experiment to prove that at medium distances the 70-300mm I use isn't half bad. Any true telephoto work and it couldn't get a sharp focus to save its life. I still kick myself for wasting the money.
