Cedar Root

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” - Psalm 92. 12

I never cease to be fascinated by the way the old cedar trees eek out a living along the edges of the escarpment. Time and time again, while hiking, I stumble upon a series of roots I wish to return to and study. This shot is relatively old.

Blog received a massive update after I crashed the DB and found the backup I had was poorly formated for syntax. Sorry about the long dry spell.
