Green Stripped Trillium
"I said you pick the best seed of the tallest tree in the forest, and plant it in a flower pot, and it will grow into a tiny tree. Is there anything wrong with the seed? Nothing is wrong with the seed. It's the best seed. Then why is it tiny? Because you planted it in a flower pot. You didn't allow it to grow in the real soil. " - Muhammad Yunus
I had completely forgotten about this odd Trillium I found, at least I think it's a Trillium. I've seen them in white, deep purple'ish red and every shade between, but never green and striped like this one. It was growing behind a fence that marked the start of private land along the Bruce trail just below the Mount Nemo conservation area. Obviously the photo has been manipulated to drop out the color saturation on the surrounding leaves to about 10% of the original. I don't know if I like it right now...

I completely dig it. I like the way you "grayed out" the leaves.
