Blossoms
"For me the future of the image is going to be in electronic form ... You will see perfectly beautiful images on an electronic screen. And I'd say that would be very handsome. They would be almost as close as the best reproductions." - Ansel Adams
I'm going to get booted out of the house pretty soon. The real estate agents are setting up "open house" camp in the afternoon so it's best I make myself scarce. Me & pop will head down to see Robbie at Bell Arte* Camera in Hamilton and see what can be done about the Fuji S3. The camera really ended up being a dud even with the heftier price tag and higher MP. It failed on all the fronts, from a cumbersome user interface to than less than spectacular feature and control of the software to get the shots you want. Currently the D200 is on pops short list of items to look at. I'm no where near ready to trade up. The D70 I have has been a real work horse and I would really like to see Nikon come out with a full aspect CCD before I invest in more glass.
Back in May or June we went for a walk along Bronte Harbor in Oakville. Almost everything was blossoming and the purplish red foliage of the above plant peppered with small white flowers caught my eye.

Very nice. Even though you took it in the summer, the colors still have a holiday, Christmas feel.
