Baren tree tops

"He who has never looked on any other than the well-cultured fields of England, can have little idea of a country that Nature has covered with an interminable forest. " - Charles Sturt

A sectional detail photographed of a local valley. The last of the broad-leafed trees are hanging onto their fall colors. I liked the chaotic pattern of colors and vein-like organic shapes. I'm not sure the shot works and I see a glaring mistake which I think takes away from the photo. I might try a different crop later.

Paul,
You have captured the very essence of these trees. I like the feathery illusion made by the leafless trees and they way they set off the fall colors.
It reminds me of scenes along the Kern River here in So. California.

So thank you to to introducing me to Urban Dictionary.
