Mid Week Burn Out
A reminder to the brokenhearted: you do not belong to any era other than this one you cannot go back in time & bop with bird parker - & knowing you, if you had been a kid in the forties you probably would rather have been a kid in the twenties anyway & you will never be Sid Vicious so forget about it. - Andrew Moore
Sometimes when I think about packing in this frustrating internet gig, I think about becoming a train engineer. I think about an iron road disappearing behind the next bend of trees or over the horizon line. I think about the grumble of diesel electric engines and the strained howl of the whistle reverberating back to me off of Canadian shield granite and thick evergreen forests. I think about not having to think about anything when my shift is finished and sleeping the sleep of the just. Yeah, my job grinds on me sometimes...
