Across Hamilton Harbor
"The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education. " - Albert Einstein
Spent the day in Burlington running errands when I noticed that Stelco and Dofasco across the harbor, it was tinted blue by a thin haze that seemed to run just up the cloud tops. Not sure if it was pollution or naturally occurring but with the high contrast day it made for an interesting shot.
I used a polarization filter and to reduce some of the glare that was coming off the water and a tripod for a greater depth of field without sacrificing ISO. There is still a good amount of highlights along the tops of the small waves but it does balance the out the dark silhouette of the industrial buildings in the background. I probably should have shot a stop slower now that I look at it.

Long time, glad you're back and with a new look.
Thanks for the comments.
Just thought you should know... I guess I use my initials so it is harder to figure, but I'm my daughter's "mom" not her "dad" although probably since he left the daily picture so early in her life, I've had to actually be both.
You do have some of the best pictures... someday perhaps I will have the knowledge to do it better. I've really missed these.

SRP. Sorry, I don't know why I was always under the impression that, well, you were the father when writing about your kids. I do apologise.
Thanks for visiting everyone and for the kind words.
cheers,
P.
