Toronto Sunset
"I like Toronto a lot, it's a good city. The only thing that really annoys me about Toronto is that you're turning Maple Leaf Gardens into a grocery store, which is absolutely nothing short of disgusting." - Rick Wakeman
This photograph is from Sunday when I was taking pictures of a clients car and on my home I took a snap of this view of Toronto and the CN Tower from the Dufferin street bridge.

Love the contrasts - nothing like a dramatic sunset. But where are the pics from your trip to Europe?

Is this from the car window or did you pull off and get out? Perfect light effect on the buildings.. love it as usual.

james...
Paul,
I am curious how you are able to have such a balanced exposure. The sunlight hitting the building would certainly underexpose the background. You have seemed to maintain a balanced exposure of building, glare, forground, and background (sky). What post processing are you using, and shall I assume you shoot in RAW? What does your Raw Workflow look like? I hope you don't mind me asking. I have seen several pictures where balanced exposure, be it in post processing or in the field have made the absolute difference in the photo. I would love to see the pre processed image before any RAW alteration; a side by side comparison. I have obtained some balanced photos using bracketed shots and then overlaying them onto one another. For example I would have taken this shot exposed for the sky, and then the buildings, and then the glare. I would then use post processing software to combine these exposures to arrive at a fully balanced picture. I would appreciate your enlightenment on the subject.
