"If you want a kitten, start out by asking for a horse" - from 'Advice from Kids'
A quick update and a pile of excuses for the tardy posting skills. We took possession of our new home in Georgetown on Friday. Of course everything that could go wrong did go wrong heading into this mess with a final panic run to the lawyers and bank at the eleventh hour. Now all we have left is our other house to sell. Sooooo, anyone looking to buy a bungalow in my neighbor hood?
A house cat photographed head on at ground level. Obviously, as the cold glare would imply, she was none too pleased about being in front of the lens. I choose to sacrifice a little depth of field and a longer exposure time for ISO clarity. Having the ground to rest the body of the D70 helped capture a sharper image.

Love those eyes and the butterscotch tabby coat. But then I just love cats in general. Thanks for the picture.
