My Winter Beater
"The expectations of life depend upon diligence; the mechanic that would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools." - Confucius
It's almost that time of year again. No I don't mean sweater weather or fall or school. It's mark two Volkswagen Jetta winter beater overhaul time in the driveway. The ol'girl didn't go gently into her summer rest and made sure to give me one last problem on her last day out with either a failed ignition switch or something in the fuse system. This is of course on top of the already iffy throttle response, almost worn out suspension, rusted shut rear doors and failing power steering pump. Time to be a one man pit crew.
So yes, what I am telling you is the crappy car in the -30 winter weather and the better car in the summer. Yes this does make completely perfect sense to a car enthusiast. Yes its completely bass-ackwards to everyone else!

Hey - great photo. I've got to change some tyres on my motor, but here we use all weather tyres all year - I expect you call them summer tyres.
Michele sent me.

Ok, so you had a timer to take multiple shots of the same picture with only you moving and then put them together somehow? Wow, is all to be said.

SRP <-- circle gets the square. You put it right on the money. In the old days you'd spend hours cutting large format film, dodging, burning and you still would be hard pressed to get the same quality digital editing can get you.
So 20 hots taken with the best 7 composited into one digitaly working. Critical items to pull this are consistent light and a camera on a tripod.
Thanks all for stopping by and the kind words.
cheers

Take care Paul... and always...keep smiling!!!!
